- 1 head green cabbage shredded
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp salt
- black pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon optional, for brightness
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the garlic and sauté about 30 seconds, until fragrant (don’t let it burn).
Add shredded cabbage and sprinkle with salt. Stir to coat evenly in the oil and garlic.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for 6–10 minutes depending on how soft or caramelized you like it.
