  • 1/2 cup butter unsalted, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add the applesauce, egg, and vanilla, and stir until fully combined.
  • Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, then mix in the flour until just incorporated.
