- 1.5 cup leftover Halloween candy (any mix of chocolate bars or treats( chopped
 - 1/2 cup butter softened
 - 1 cup brown sugar
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
 - 1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven: to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the dough: In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
Add dry ingredients: Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
Fold in candy: Gently mix in the chopped Halloween candy pieces.
Scoop & bake: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet and bake 9–11 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
Cool & enjoy: Let cookies rest on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a rack — the melted candy makes them extra gooey!
